About Me

Hi there, I’m Mary. I’m a twenty-something young professional living with my husband and our fur-baby in North Texas. This blog is about my journey to better health and to a more holistic life. And it’s also probably about my dog.

I’m hoping that my journey can help some of you who may find themselves in similar situations. Currently, I work a desk job, live in an apartment with a tiny kitchen, and I don’t have a lot of time and space to cook. My journey will take me to a more active and healthy life as I take principles of primal living and apply them to my own life and my own time and space.

Primal-ish is about taking the foundational truths of the primal lifestyle (movement, nutrition, and unplugging) and incorporating them in our everyday lives. This can be as easy as taking the stairs and as difficult as putting down our phones at the dinner table.

So join me and we’ll search for a primal lifestyle (for the rest of us).
